Best Fish & Chips I've had! Staff are always friendly as well as tasty food and fantastic customer service. I've brought my friends, cousins from the US and my girlfriend here and they all love it and have been constantly visiting. Definitely try it here.
100% the best fish and chips I've ever had. Highly recommend the grilled skate wing. Just delicious. Really lovely guys too. Thank you, we will be back
Nice post-lockdown eating experience. Great fish and chips. Serve beer and wine too
A little bit of a delayed review, but I visited Golden Chippy in Greenwich in October 2019. Was looking for a good place to eat in Greenwich, and coming from Australia, we wanted to see how the British did their fish and chips. It was a little bit of a walk from the Greenwich train station, but nothing too exhausting. It is only a very small shop- we actually walked past it initially! We were early for lunch so there was seating available for us- however I could imagine that at a busier time that there would not be enough seats. The welcome was warm and I was surprised we got table service! I got the standard cod, he got the large cod. And why it was definitely large! Came with a side of chips and salad, well presented. The best part was the homemade tartare sauce- absolutely amazing! The pricing was reasonable for UK and we had a wonderful meal. At the end we were stuffed but the even offered us a top up of chips if we wanted! Absolutely welcoming and great quality fish and chips. Highly recommend!
The best fish & chips I had ever had in my life! When it comes to traditional British cuisines, it usually dawned on people the most renowned one-fish & chips! There are a variety of fish you can choose served with chips, including Cod, Haddock, Rock and so on. You can dine in the restaurant to talk with the hospitable and funny staffs or just take out. The meat in the fish tasted tender & springy with the crunchy outer, served with the salad was also a good choice for you.
