I came here as I appreciate a good quality fish and chips, and am always looking for the best, and I'm very fussy.!! I chose this place after taking in several reviews and a video or two (DJ, thank you.!) Anyway, Chris the proprietor was very welcoming, and I ordered the cod and chips to eat in. The meal arrived in good time, and it was perfect from start to finish.! Cod had a nice light crisp batter, no sogginess here. The flesh was beautiful firm white flakes, and very tasty indeed. The chips were also spot-on, and in particular I noticed every one of them was consistent, with a golden and crisp outer, and nice fluffy centre, cooked to perfection. No black bits, no burnt chips, very impressed.! Chris also checked with me personally that everything was OK with the meal. Honestly I can see why this is so highly rated.

Honestly the best fish and chips we’ve ever had! The serving size was massive, the fish was fresh and the batter was perfectly crunchy. The sides we had were all excellent. The customer service was also outstanding.

Nice food, but honestly not worth the price. We spend over 20 pounds for a simple fast food. There's similar quality fish and chips but only half the price we spent here. However, if you're a big fan of fish and chips, might be worth a try.

An absolute necessary stop if you’re in the area for the National Maritime Museum and looking for lunch. My wife and I thought a trip to here alone would’ve been worth our time.

It’s for sure the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, and probably going to be hard to beat going forward. Fish came out hot, crispy, and fresh—the house made tartar is a great compliment as well as the mushy peas. Large portions for the price: two could probably split a large serving with the amount of chips served. The salad is a light and refreshing compliment to the fried food and is included in the price!

Chips was golden crispy from outside and fluffy from inside I order cod (large) the meal come with green salad and chips (huge amount) and big enough size of fish fillets.
I’ll definitely cone again and I’m highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes to try traditional fish and chips with reasonable price.
